Spring Update

Heavenhi and Happy Spring everyone!

We are welcoming spring here at HYA with some garden and silvopasture work. Last weekend Anusha and Aabhaasvara arrived for garden prep and so far we have tilled the soil, added compost and manure to it, and got it ready to be planted in. This weekend is spring tree planting and we have already had a number of volunteers arrive to help us plant more trees and tend to our orchards.

We are happy to be working the land again and look forward to welcoming summer volunteers here starting in May.

In other news, Benji has officially moved to HYA and has been voted in as farm manager and assistant garden manager. Bhati and Gudu have been promoted onto the board as creative director/ assistant grounds manager and grounds manager respectively, Devan is now an advisor of civil engineering, Saucha has been made the CEO and Sama is now the President of HYA. Congratulations for your new roles everyone! Thank you for your dedication and service to our ashram.
