The Five Stages of HYA’s Development
Hiranyagarbha Yuga Ashram will be going through five definitive growth stages over the next 12 years.
Stage 1:
Stage 1 is the current stage of HYA. It will be completed with the installation of electric and water grids. Home sights and living areas will be supplied by these grids which will continue to expand as we build new homes and facilities. Stage one will be completed by summer of 2025.
Stage 3:
Our first priority of stage 3 is to build a barn and stables to house livestock. Once the barn and stables are built we will begin raising cows, goats, sheep, pigs, fowl, horses, mules, and livestock guardian dogs. Horses and mules will be especially important since, as a self-sustaining community, they will take the place of gas-powered machines to help us work the land. Another notable project included in stage 3 is the building of the Great Hall, a centralized building that will host community meals and events. The estimated time of completion for this stage is 2030.
Stage 5:
The fifth and final stage of HYA’s development will be marked by its complete self-sustainability. In this stage we will be providing our own resources through sustainable agriculture, renewable energy generation, health and wellness facilities, and an on-ashram school system. At this stage we will have expanded our core group to at least 26 trained graduate or near graduate level students of Jnanda’s College and at least two ascended masters. These members will be living permanently on the ashram and managing it. Stage 5 will be completed by 2036.
Stage 2:
Stage 2 will see the building of dormitories to accommodate the growing number of students, volunteers, and visitors arriving at HYA. These dorms will house up to 12 people and will have shower and laundry facilities. There will also be the building of greenhouses for all year gardening. Stage 2 will see the transition of HYA into a full time, year round ashram. Completion of stage 2 is dependent on funding and is estimated to be 2028.
Stage 4:
Stage 4 will have the building of a multifaceted medical facility to provide spaces for the healing arts. This healing arts center will have the offices of licensed psychologist and specialist working in both eastern and western medicine. People seeking addiction treatment will receive treatment from this facility and counseling from trained supervised spiritual counselors. This healing center will allow the various healing arts to work together holistically to aid individuals with healing on spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical levels. Stage 4 will be completed by 2033.
