Anusha Balavath Bhakti Ananda

Namaste, I’m Anusha, the Garden Manager here at HYA. I’m responsible for assuring our garden is supplying the community with fresh produce throughout all growing seasons and is functioning properly with good TLC. I lead tasks throughout our karma yoga hours to accomplish the ashrams goals specific to garden culture. 

I started this college three years ago and have returned each summer. Now, I'm looking forward to moving permanently to the ashram in the summer of 2026. I show up to serve and aid in whichever ways I can, and this has aided me tremendously with breaking through energy veils and building divine momentum. I am carving out my life from divine will and divine love of service. 

If you’re thinking about coming out, give it a go and see just what this college and community can do for you. Eventually growing to the point where you then ask, “What can I do for the ashram? How can I be of service?”
