First and foremost, I am a chela on the path of Divine Love, devoting my life to service of Mother, Father, God. I am a co-manager of Hiranyagarbha Yuga Ashram (HYA) as Administrative Coordinator and as an advisor to the board of directors. In addition to these duties, I am studying for a Master’s in Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia.
I have been working with the HYA community since 2019 as a student of Satguru Yogiprabhu Jnanda Moksha Bhramananda and in that time have been diligently striving for soul evolution and service. Since graduating from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, I became intimately involved in starting and building HYA here in Callaway, VA. Quickly, I realized the immense potential and necessity of fully living with the land, removed from the reliance on a fundamentally broken social, ecological, political system.
After arriving in SW Virginia I became interested in how to design the connections of space between the numerous functions of HYA. Now, I am working to find the most effective and beautiful ways of connecting spiritual practice, food production, water systems, and community living. Studying landscape architecture is allowing me to understand these relationships better and thus, enrich the design and community at HYA.
