      <image:title>Bhati Vimokhana Ananda - Bhati Vimokhana Ananda</image:title>
<image:caption>Heaven hi. My name is Bhati Vimokhana Ananda. I am a servant of the Divine, currently working as a Public High School Art Teacher at Franklin County High School, in Rocky Mount, VA. I have been working on this path of spiritual growth and soul evolution since February 2018, when I was 18 years old. It began when I met Saucha at The Claremont Colleges and participated in his meditation club. I became a student of Satguruyogiprabhu Jnanda Moksha Brahmananda in April of that year, and became very fervent and one-pointed towards this goal in September 2018. This training has impacted and shaped every aspect of my life, and it has brought more light to everything that I do. My aim in my life is to be of service in whatever way the Divine asks me to, and everything that I do I dedicate to that end. I have been involved with Hiranyagarbha Yuga Ashram casually since Saucha Atma Ananda and Devaaya Avirodha Ananda first envisioned it in our home in Los Angeles, and I have been more seriously involved since the summer of 2020, when I spent 5 months living and working there. I moved onto the ashram permanently in April 2021, along with my wonderful dog Zavaka. I am a bit of a jack of all trades in terms of my on-the-ground roles and responsibilities. In the summer of 2021 I was the ashram's Head Chef, and became an advisor to the board. I also made the ashram's flag and logo. In 2022 and 2023, I worked primarily on the building team, and in 2023, and became one half of our Silvopasture and Agroforestry team, with Sama. I focus on implementation of plans, while Sama focuses on planning, which makes me the primary bushhog mower for the field. I am also the Assistant Grounds Manager, and in that role, assist Gudu (the Grounds Manager) in scheduling our work, increasing stewardship, and managing new volunteers. As the Creative Director, I am in charge of any art that goes up around the ashram in public spaces, such as murals and signs. I also help run the HYA website, Facebook page, and Instagram page. Since I was a small child, the notion of a self-sustaining community has been something that appealed to me and spoke to my spiritual self, to my sense of dharma. I see myself building a house at Hiranyagarbha Yuga Ashram, raising children and living the rest of my life here, all while training and teaching young students. Every time I apply my labor to our work projects here, it fills me with Love because it works towards that goal.</image:caption>

<image:caption>During my college years, I studied martial arts and achieved black belts in Karate and Kung Fu. As I continued to study martial arts, I longed to learn about meditation to deepen my understanding of the spiritual aspects. I met Jnanda nearly a decade ago in my pursuit of a meditation teacher that would assist in taking my martial arts training to the next level. Learning from Jnanda, I have surpassed any level of growth I thought was possible. I took a leap of faith and have been building spiritual momentums so I can be of service to the world. After graduating as an electrical engineer specializing in computers, I now own an IT Consulting company in the Los Angeles area.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Namaste’ Before endeavoring to start this Ashram, and before meeting Jnanda, I spent years seeking, meditating, and studying in the hopes of understanding whom and what I truly am, and how to heal from the pain I was experiencing. It felt as though there was a “missing piece” within myself that was of the greatest importance. That missing piece ached and hurt when I ignored it, and only through the greatest of my own efforts was I able to make strides toward what I was seeking. What I was searching for was wholeness, self-knowledge, and connection with the Divine. Before meeting Jnanda, I had moments of Illumination and healing, mixed with many moments of great difficulty. I felt I was unable to bridge my experience of the Divine with my experience of the world, and felt that my own suffering was taking place in an ocean of humankind's suffering. This was a hard place to be in for an extended period of time. Eventually, I developed enough humility to seek real help in my journey. Because I studied religions, particularly Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Christianity, I knew that true teachers and guides existed, so I sought a teacher. There were many beautiful incidents that led to meeting Jnanda; in fact, I had a dream in which the Dalai Lama introduced me to my Guru, and then met him in person a month later. The growth that I experienced in the next few months was remarkable. My desire to grow at that time was like rocket fuel; working with Jnanda I was burning through fears, misperceptions, and traumas… Within a few months I heard on the inner to start holding meditation circles at the school I was attending, and I began sharing with others the tools that I was learning. These meditation circles became more popular, and through them, I met several others who would go on to work with Jnanda. That momentum kept growing; several of us including Devaaya, Bhati, and Sama moved in together, and the feeling of spiritual community was forming with growing strength. The following summer, I began to think about building an Ashram and Spoke with Jnanda and others about this idea. I felt that one day I would like to be able to aid and teach people in the way that Jnanda had taught me. I knew that what I had been given was of great importance to give also. Since I was not ready to teach others, I endeavored to build an Ashram where knowledge and spiritual tools would be more available to others. It was not simple, I went through many challenges, and had some physical and financial instability along the way, but together with others who hopped on board, we were able to purchase land and begin the creation of this Karma Yoga Ashram. It was Devaaya who first moved to Virginia to help find land and funding for the Ashram, who was with me through almost every step in the early time leading up until the purchase of land. Afterward, it was the core group of devoted, beautiful beings who first answered the call to move onto the land and help create this Ashram, even when we had no buildings running water, electricity, etc. Just some tarps and tents! And it was Jnanda, who was there each step of the way, aiding, advising, and supporting, so that things could be done in the best way. As of the time of writing this, we have several buildings, a kitchen, solar, the makings of water infrastructure, a full garden, toilets, orchards, roads, and more. And most importantly, we have a strengthening and developing organizational structure, led by Satguru Jnanda Moksha Brahmananda, Yogi Vidya, and Yogi Uppekha. My role in the Ashram has become head of building and dealing with the local building department, as well as a board member and co-founder. I am very grateful to be a part of this Ashram and work with such fantastic beings as those who make up this community. Thank you for your interest in HYA, Saucha Atma Ananda</image:caption>

<image:caption>First and foremost, I am a chela on the path of Divine Love, devoting my life to service of Mother, Father, God. I am a co-manager of Hiranyagarbha Yuga Ashram (HYA) as Administrative Coordinator and as an advisor to the board of directors. In addition to these duties, I am studying for a Master’s in Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia. I have been working with the HYA community since 2019 as a student of Satguru Yogiprabhu Jnanda Moksha Bhramananda and in that time have been diligently striving for soul evolution and service. Since graduating from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, I became intimately involved in starting and building HYA here in Callaway, VA. Quickly, I realized the immense potential and necessity of fully living with the land, removed from the reliance on a fundamentally broken social, ecological, political system. After arriving in SW Virginia I became interested in how to design the connections of space between the numerous functions of HYA. Now, I am working to find the most effective and beautiful ways of connecting spiritual practice, food production, water systems, and community living. Studying landscape architecture is allowing me to understand these relationships better and thus, enrich the design and community at HYA.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Twenty years ago, I began a journey that changed my life forever in the best way possible. I met Jnanda through a group of mutual friends and blew him off for six months before agreeing to work with him. At the time, I was married to my second husband, we are now divorced, and we were raising each other’s children and doing a horrible job of it. We were both alcoholics and I had many other negative behaviors and habits that I was unaware of at the time. It was a classic case of denial and being comfortable with my own misery. Being clairvoyant without any discipline, training, or discernment caused excess trauma due to my inability to understand what was going on. The many experiences and data I received in this clairvoyant state, coupled with the massive trauma and fear I experienced as a child, made me feel like I was going insane, which may have been the case at the time. A motivating factor at this time was seeing that there was a wedge forming between my son and I due to my many survival mode behaviors. This frightened me and I made the choice to find a way to fix this. He was my motivation to change at that time. Changing for myself would not have motivated me at that time because I was raised to believe that I was not worthy of healing, love, healthy relationships, or anything of a positive nature and I bought into those lies. Knowing how to fix my life was a foreign concept to me because I only could identify that some things were bad. I had no idea of what the right behaviors were and that deeply bothered me. As time passed, I kept calling my best friend and complaining about my life, my now ex-husband, etc. She kept telling me to call Jnanda and start working with him. This finally sank in after about six months, and I made an appointment with Jnanda. I missed the first appointment and felt guilty about it, so I made a second appointment and was determined to keep it. This Reiki session was the first experience in my life that had any effect on my mental/emotional bodies. It was the first time someone was able to quiet the multiple voices in my head that I had no control over and could answer my questions with clarity and facts. I had so many questions in life and everyone else just said, “God works in mysterious ways.” This was always something that really bothered me, even as a small child. During the first session with Jnanda, I looked at him when the session was coming to an end and realized that he was the person I had been looking for since I was a little girl. I told him this and he chuckled in his Loving way. I knew then and there that I would never stop healing, never stop doing what I had to do, no matter how hard it may seem. Finally finding peace for the first time in my life was a pivotal point for me and was further motivation to heal, change the toxic behaviors I had, and become aware of my connection with the Divine. Jnanda taught me how to use real tools to help myself heal, grow, and learn, how to be of true service to myself first by applying the tools necessary to change the bad behaviors and undo the damage of my terrifying childhood. He taught me that I can be of service to those who are open to receive and still Love those who are not without any judgment. Doing my first works was pivotal in healing and becoming the yogini that I am today capable of helping myself and others. A fond memory I have of my early practices with Jnanda was his unending patience and my inability to manipulate him to do what my ego wanted him to do. Early on in my training with Jnanda, he would assign specific tools, practices, or disciplines for me to use, and I always wanted him to explain to me what the effects and benefits of each one would be prior to me doing the assignments. He would smile and tell me that “Application brings about understanding.” This was an ongoing habit of mine for at least the first six months. Jnanda would give the same answer with a smile and wait for me to get over myself and do the assigned tasks. He never gave up on me, nor judged me for my trauma responses. Each time he would tell me “Application brings about understanding” I wanted to punch him in the face. Instead, I would do the assignments and discover that his words were right and return with Humility and a willingness to progress. Today, this is a story I share with joy and fondness because it helped me break through so many of the barriers I had set up as trauma responses. I am happy to say that I have been on this path for 20 years now and would not trade a single moment of it. Life’s journey is wondrous and I am grateful for the training and teachings we are all learning.</image:caption>

<image:title>Jnanda Moksha Brahmananda - Isreom Ishov Satguruyogiprabhu Jnanda Moksha Brahmananda</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a channel of God's love energy and compiler of facts, a lot of which are already available on this plane of existence. I taught my first class of Spiritual Growth Training and Awakening during the second week of October 1992. I have been steadily teaching and growing since then. On December 31st, 1992, I became an A.D.L. Ordained Minister. I have been on a four-year Karma Yoga walk during which time I became a Jnana Yogi. On November 11, 1995, I was named Jnanda Brahmananda. I continued teaching and training and, in the Spring of 2001, became a Satguru with the title and name of Isreom Ishov Satguruyogiprabhu Jnanda Moksha Brahmananda. At that time, I had obtained 15 Divine Aspects and Attributes to be used to aid this planet and beings in soul-evolution. To read my literature and apply it is to know me. Namaste' Meaning of my name: Isa Gave the Hebrew name to me of Isreom Ishov (The Will of God the People of God) which is also the name of my staff which is imbued by the Divine to aid me in carrying balancing, transmuting, and disseminating world karma. My Sanskrit Yoga Veda title and name were both chosen and given to me by an ancient, enlightened Rishi who came to me. Meaning of my name: My Sanskrit Yoga Veda name which means: Sat = True / Gu = dark / Ru = light (from the darkness of Ignorance to the Light of Divine knowledge) / Yogi = teacher of union / Prabhu = of God / Jnanda = discernment / Moksha = liberation / Brahmananda = Divine Bliss... True Teacher of God Union with Discernment that leads one to Liberation and Divine Bliss. These earned names took me 12 ½ years of training including a four-year karma yoga walk to obtain. Namaste'</image:caption>

<image:caption>The glorification of the Divine has been growing as the center of my life since 2016, and initially led me to experiment with various paths including Sufism and Buddhism. After countless hours of practice, working with different teachers, and overhauling my life, a lot of life still felt like tundra trudging. I first met Jnanda at an auspicious pumpkin fair in Ukiah. A year later, after many experiences including a meditative experience that included (among many other things) the being that he is giving me my spiritual name and duty on the inner, I finally decided to work with him. That decision and experience came from moving from spirituality as focused mainly on meditative and devotional union with the Divine, to focusing on all four of the main yogas of life leading to Divine union with an emphasis on dutiful selfless service on the physical plane and beyond. I am very grateful to my spiritual brother Saucha for being a great example of the possibilities of divine change during the first year while I lingered on the fence. While the emergence brought by para-atma (higher samadhi) experiences is life changing, adding on taking full responsibility for all aspects and levels of the being one is leads to a more thorough mergence that grounds divine change unceasingly. Jnanda’s training, anchored by selfless service, has led to mental-emotional healing and spiritual abilities that I could not previously even dream of. The horizon of growth has continually made itself known as infinite as the Divine itself. Vocationally, I have worked in the mental health field in wilderness therapy and drug rehabilitation centers all with a focus on trauma-informed recovery. After going back to school at Tennessee Tech for electrical engineering and mathematics, I am starting employment at Oak Ridge National Labs working as a researcher for their fusion program under the umbrella of ITER. Carrying this project out, while not always easy for my lower/outer bodies, has been a very direct and beautiful expression of everything we have and continue to learn. I wish you all the purity, skill, and power of choice needed for whatever path of Divine Love you choose.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I moved from Florida to Virginia in the summer of 2019 by following my heart and seeking truth. It has not always been easy, but it has always contributed to me learning more about the qualities of a divine life. We are still in the infancy of this ashram on the ground and have learned and grown so much in the last two summers. I look forward with love to all the possibilities of the years to come while utilizing my skills of stewardship as grounds manager. In my professional life, I am finishing a BS in Health Sciences and from there completing licensure as a registered nurse. This path and this ashram have been a huge blessing to my life. I met Jnanda in 2016 and through working with him as my teacher have grown more into the person I have always dreamed of becoming! Making connections with other students in this spiritual community, while doing karma yoga, is a very fun and illuminating experience. It has also led me to cultivate a divine partnership with my husband, Saucha. Living at Hiranyagarbha Yuga Ashram is an experience of peace, beauty, and lots of smiles. Namaste.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Namaste, I’m Anusha, the Garden Manager here at HYA. I’m responsible for assuring our garden is supplying the community with fresh produce throughout all growing seasons and is functioning properly with good TLC. I lead tasks throughout our karma yoga hours to accomplish the ashrams goals specific to garden culture. I started this college three years ago and have returned each summer. Now, I'm looking forward to moving permanently to the ashram in the summer of 2026. I show up to serve and aid in whichever ways I can, and this has aided me tremendously with breaking through energy veils and building divine momentum. I am carving out my life from divine will and divine love of service. If you’re thinking about coming out, give it a go and see just what this college and community can do for you. Eventually growing to the point where you then ask, “What can I do for the ashram? How can I be of service?” I look forward to seeing you. Best of fortune to you!</image:caption>
